WEB-BASED NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION INFORMATION SYSTEM AT SD PERTIWI AMBON

Abstract

The Pertiwi Ambon Elementary Education Unit is an education unit under the Ambon City Government Education Office. At the Pertiwi Ambon Elementary School the management system was in the process of registering new students and data processing was still using the manual system. So to make a report, the committee still has difficulty in obtaining data, especially if the required data is damaged and lost. For this reason, schools need an information system to facilitate the delivery of information to prospective new students, facilitate the management of new student data and report generation. Seeing the problems mentioned above came up the idea to build a web-based system that can manage and store data on prospective new students at SD Pertiwi Ambon. The research method used is qualitative research. The System development method used is the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), then the development model used is the Data Flow Diagram (DFD). And using the PHP, CSS & HTML5 Programming Languages. With the development of this application can make it easier to deliver information simplify the management of new student data and making student data reports quickly.
