Abstract

This research aims to design and develop a web-based online examination system to improve the efficiency of the learning evaluation process at SMK Negeri 5 Central Maluku. The system replaces traditional paper-based exams that require considerable time, cost, and effort for administration and grading. The development process used the Waterfall method, employing PHP, HTML, and MySQL as the main technologies. The results indicate that the system effectively simplifies exam management for teachers, allows students to take exams anytime and anywhere, and provides real-time results. Overall, the implementation of this system enhances the efficiency and accuracy of academic administration in vocational schools.
