Abstract

The administration of certificate letters in villages has so far been carried out manually, which makes the process time-consuming and prone to errors. This study aims to design and develop a web-based village certificate information system using Laravel 9, so that the processes of application, validation, printing, and archiving of letters can be performed digitally and efficiently. The research method used is the Design and Build method, starting from system requirements analysis, database and workflow design, implementation using Laravel 9, to system functionality testing. The results of the study show that the developed system successfully simplifies the certificate administration process, reduces processing time from several days to just a few minutes, and improves data accuracy and security. The system also provides a PDF generation feature for ready-to-print letters and a digital archive module that facilitates searching for letters based on date or applicant identity. In conclusion, the implementation of Laravel 9 in the village certificate information system can improve the efficiency of village administrative services and support digital transformation within village governance.
